Cheeky Cherry Pie

It's Saturday! Wahoo and I'm running just a touch late with my Quixotic Paperie post today. Usually I like to have my post all scheduled and ready to go in the morning but this little lady was still uncoloured and the layers unstuck this morning.

But I'm here now and I've got a Little Cheeky Cherry for you today and she uses all sorts of goodies you can find over at Quixotic Paperie.

She is my favourite of the Greeting Farm Cheeky range - Cheeky Cherry Pie. I've coloured her with pencils and layered her up with lots of fabric and paper textures.

The papers are from the Prima Melody collection and I've got my Shimmez Spritz out and added some sparkle. You might like to know that all the Shimmerz paints are on special offer at the moment.

You might also recognise the background to the stamp? It's one of the Artistic Outpost Ephemeral Backgrounds stamps - see how versatile these stamps are :) Love them, you might have noticed that!

Right catch you guys later, have a good Saturday.
Happy crafting.

Dinosaurs On Me Blog Again!

Yep it's me with my dinosaurs again! Got a little commission birthday card using the super cute Oliver from the Oliver and Amelia Happy Days set from the Greeting Farm that Elaine has available at Quixotic Paperie.

It is a very minimalistic card using Kraft card from my stash, luckily Elaine also has some Bazzill Kraft card available at the shop.

I've also used some torn up glassine envelopes and doodled little Dino prints with a ZIG Vellum Writer. Oliver and his Dino friends are all coloured with ZIG Art and Graphic Twin pens.

Before I go you might like to know that Elaine has got some of the gorgeous Make It Crafty background stamps new in at Quixotic Paperie, I thought I would give you a small peek at them:

Have a great weekend.

TGF Royal Battle News - Week 3

Something a little different from me today and something a little out of my comfort zone LOL!

The Quixotic Stampers (Elaine, Emma, Rowena and me) are through to round 3 of the TGF Royal Battle thanks to Emma and your wonderful votes :) Thank you all for your support.

Well, this week the challenge is a Scrapbook page and it fell to me to have a go! Oh Boy! Not something I do a lot of as you know!

I borrowed the lovely photograph from Elaine for this layout and matched it with paper from October Afternoon and stamps from The Greeting Farm.

I stamped out the clouds and then masked them and sponged on some pearlescent ink. Then I stamped the balloon and paper pieced it. The lettering was printed and then I doodled on them.

I love mixing fabric and paper and the flowers are made from fabric and I've added a bit of stitching to the layout as well :)
I would love you forever if you could cast your vote on my make by commenting in TGF forum and help the Quixotic Stampers to get through to the next round, I would hate to be the one that lets the girls down!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
