Recent I got to try out the CraftArtist 2 Professional from Serif. Have you used it?
If you don't know it, it is a papercrafting software for doing your digital and hybrid makes. I was quite surprised at the amount of things I could do with the software. For example you can 'punch' shapes digitally, then use them to co-ordinate your digital design or even print them out to make embellishments.
So I was let loose on this software and here is one of my makes using only the software and the Circle Brush and Stamps kit.
It is only simple as I was on a tight turn around, but I do like a bit of clean and simple designing. So I've coloured the digital stamps in the software, then added in the black borders around the stamps, arranged the design and printed them out with the sentiment too. Easy! Well it was easy once I had worked out how to change the border of the stamp.
If you are interested in trying the CraftArtist for yourself there is actually a free compact version of the software too.
Have a fun Monday.

Lovely, simple card Kim. I don't know when I last used my serif programme. Enjoy your Day. Hugs Rita xx
ReplyDeleteI have Craft Artist Pro and find it very useful for printing elements of the digikits, making headers or covers for my social media profiles and might, one day, understand the craze for digi-scrapping!
ReplyDeleteLove this CAS card - thanks Kim - good ideas are often less complex than we imagine.
A very colourful and pretty design Kim. I like to do hybrid work now and again too.

ReplyDeleteA lovely card Kim. I've had the Serif software for quite a while and use it a lot and there's still a lot I've got to learn on it.

I must be the world's worst crafter, because I find the Serif the hardest software to use, compared to four other similar systems. I've watched, and recorded endless demos (that are always done too quickly for me). Even the help didn't answer my specific questions, so I haven't really persevered. One day I'll sit down and master it, if it kills me in the process.
