VIDEO: DIY 3D Paper Birds
Do you ever take your art off the page and turn it 3D? It can be great fun and can literally add a new dimension to how you think about your work! If it isn't something that you already do then can I suggest this project as a good starting point to get you off the page? It is super simple and very cute. It is all about making DIY 3D paper birds that can stand up and decorate your space.
This is a continuation of a series of blog posts and videos I have been doing all based around DIY Patterned Paper. It all started in February with my 5 Fun DIY Patterned Paper Techniques blog post where I shared some of my current favourite ways to decorate paper. Hop over to that blog post if you don't remember it and share your current favourite techniques!
Then I shared a project made using those patterned paper in my DIY Patterned Paper Bird Journal Page blog post and there was a video of that project too.
Well this time around I have taken the same bird I showed you how to make for the art journal page and made it 3 dimensional and you can watch the whole process in the video below.
