'Tick Tock, Tick Tock' Says The Time Fairy

Ok, a break from Monoprinting with my Gelatine plates and time to meet the Time Fairy!

You probably already know him, he is responsible for those moments when you suddenly find it is much later in the day than you thought and you haven't achieved as much as you should have, amongst other time-related weirdness of course!

So take a good look.

I've recently started a new journal dedicated heavily to collage and my time fairy is cut from a magazine but I've used the small Watchface from the new precut rubber stamps range from Creative Expressions for his head.

His wings are made of Kaleidoscope Precut Stamp and some doodling.

Then a bit of journalling and you can read into it whatever you want.

Tick Tock!

Hope you are having fun with the time fairy today.
Hope he sprinkles you with lots of time to do all the things you want...

Kim

  1. This is terrific, Kim. I love that you have such a style range, always refreshing to look at. I have a time fairy who steals whole days in the craft room. I am going to investigate these stamps now, part of my 'research' for Ally Pally!

  12. Kim, what a fantastic page.

I think my time fairy definitely suffers from kleptomania as I only have to blink an eye and half a day is gone LOL

    Have a great weekend.

  15. Hi Kim, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.
Love the collage; it's something I'd like to have a go at and though I've seen the odd tutorial I still feel I wouldn't know where to start.
Love the gelli prints you've done. Before the Gelli plates became really popular I, along with 2 friends attempted to do some using gelatine. Unfortunately some ended up on the floor and another one ended up in a heap like mashed up jelly lol. Though we did manage to do some mono printing using glass chopping mats? (can't call them boards I suppose when they're glass)
