Creative Expressions Sheer Inspiration Blog Hop

It is giveaway Blog Hop Time!

If you haven't seen it already Creative Expressions is having a Ribbon inspired blog hop and all the DT have made some gorgeous and inspiring items using, yep you guessed it, Creative Expressions Ribbons!

I hope you have been hoping along and leaving a comment at each of the blogs as there are some £15 crafty stash bundles (including Creative Expressions Ribbons, That Special Touch masks and art supplies from Cosmic Shimmer) up for grabs and several chances of winning if you comment on each of the DT's blogs.

And there is no exception today with my Creative Expressions Ribbon make that I've called 'Heart Strings'. Up for grabs are the ribbons and my favourite brads I've used in this make plus the Creative Expressions first and second project books - so don't forget to leave a comment!

For my make I've used the ribbons and turned them into a working surface by gluing them onto card and painting them with Gesso.

For the heart I backed the ribbon with Vilene Bondaweb then used ribbon like a fabric to make the quilted, distressed heart. The screws holding the heart strings are the Creative Expressions screw top brads. The whole piece is backed onto a 6 x 6 clear-primed canvas board.

You still have time to go checkout the rest of the DT's amazing ribbon makes and to sign up to their giveaways as the hop is open until Sunday and the winners will be announced on the Creative Expression blog on Monday.

Here is the blog list:

Kim Dellow (you are here!)

Good luck!

Kim

  14. Hi Kim
Love this and you've given me a idea, my nephew is getting married in Aug. I could get a horseshoe and cover it with ribbon and hang a heart like yours hanging in the middle, or could be a copy cat and make this as a wall hanging for their new home. Thank you for sharing amazing what you have all done with ribbon and thank you for all your hard work, great instructions and photos. Thank you team Creative Expressions what great products and a inspiring Blog Hop!
