I have something with a simple elegance to show you today it's a card to celebrate a wedding and the recipients had a gold and black colour scheme.
But before I show it to you I want to share with you where the inspiration for this one came from. It was from my bloggy friend Kissinia who owns the Blue Birdie Blog. I'm a HUGE fan of Kissinia, she does the most amazing work and you really should go check her out. Also checkout the Mail Art Exchange project she is running at the moment - it is open to all!
I took part in the Mail Art Exchange project and here is a little peak at the gorgeous mail art Kissinia sent me (I'll show you what I sent her a little later but you can see a sneak of it on her blog):
As you can see there is a layer of gold paint on the envelope which lead me to explore layers of gold paint on work and to this card...
Stamped directly over it with the Fiskars Clear Stamps - Country Flowers stamp set.
The sentiment was stamped out using the Fiskars Clear Stamps - Lower, Uppercase and Numbers set.
Don't forget to check out Kissenia's blog and the Mail Art Exchange project and send her a little *wave* from me.
This project is part of my guest DT work over at Fiskarettes so don't forget to go check them out too!
Lots of places to hop today!
Have a Glorious Gold Hopping Thursday.
Kim
