Ok so I've probably broken some rule of blogging by using a similar title before. But I do kind of like it and I think it kind of fits my Creative Expressions make this week.
A little Birdhouse Shrine to Found Objects.
I've used a few different stamp sets in my shrine, can you guess which ones?
When first of all there is the Creative Expressions Sam Poole's Umount Birds set which is the DT stamp set this month.
But I've also used the Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 The Voice Of Art Stamp set.
The found objects are some Hessian and cardboard recycled from packaging, an old book page, a watch front and an old key that I recently rusted.
Oh and if any of you guys like your sketching and happen to be in London today (and not visiting me at Hobbycraft in Woking of course!) then pop up to Cass Art in Islington for a free event launching The Art Of Urban Sketching book, which is proving so popular that they had to reprint it - they ran out of the first run that was released in February 2012! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this book and I would be at the event myself if I wasn't demoing in Woking, I'll just have to do some Urban Hobbycraft sketching!
Have a lovely Saturday.
