I'm not usually one for double parking my makes, posting two or more makes in a post, and I try to avoid posting more than once a day, but I'm getting to the point where I have more samples than days to post them!
I have to admit that I am starting to lose the plot a little on which I've posted and which I haven't, it is not helped by my somewhat haphazard filing system as I seem to have everything marked as 'not blogged yet'.
Hey Ho!
Anyway, I do have some makes to show you today, not one, not two but THREE makes! They are all from the samples I made for Creative Expressions recently and you have already seen a little peak of a couple of them.
All the makes use the If The Shoe Fits A5 stamp plate designed by Sam Poole.
Did you know you can use Cosmic Shimmers Powders to distress and vintage your papers? I didn't until I tried it. The papers are called Foundation Papers and I added extra details with the Cosmic Shimmers Powders and That Special Touch Flourish Mask and some Versamark.
Yep, I did use those circle flowers again, I know you are getting tired of them - but look how well the circle sentiment from the stamp set works with them!
I've also distressed the next sample with the Cosmic Shimmers Powders and been at the Foundation Papers with the tearing.
This time I stamped the smaller shoes from the kit in Versamark and used the Cosmic Shimmers Powders to add some sparkle and also some colour to the rose too.
Ok my final sample today is a little different from the other two as there is no distressing just lots of dots.
For this one I used the Foundation Papers to layer the dotty paper which I made using 3D Crystal Colour Lacquer and the That Special Touch Polka Dots Mask.
You can see the 3D sparkly effect of the Lacquer - cool! The ribbon is a lovely sheer polka dot and the Spellbinders dies is the Labels 9 Nestie.
The dots you see before your eyes are real!
Well I better go and try to organise my filing system.
Catch you later. (Much later!)
Have fun
Kim
