It is coming up to my first blogiversary at the end of April and I wanted to do a Blog Candy Give Away to Celebrate a year of craft blogging.

The candy is a collection of ribbons, brads, beads, fabric flowers, shaped eyelets, with some more things creeping in as we progress through the month! But the stars of the show are a pot of my two favourite Shimmerz paints - Angel Wings and Blingz Flashee Fushchia from the very lovely Stacey at Shimmerz Paints. If you haven't had a chance to try these fabby paints then here it is! Or if you are already a fan then you can stock up on some more for free with this candy!

So you have noticed a bag of mixed beads at the front? Well here is how you can join in on this blog candy. Leave me a comment telling me how many beads you think are in the bag! Yep, I did count them LOL!

You can have more than one go but only one go per day!

The more goes you have the more chances you have - so in my calculations that is 20 chances between 8th
and the 27th April!

Remember also to post about the candy on your blog (leaving me a direct link to the post would
be much appreciated!).

The candy will close 27th April 2009 5pm BST (GMT+1h). The people who are within plus or minus 50 beads of the correct bead count will be thrown into the pot and random.org will pick the winner.

As promised here is my blog candy to you as way of celebrating - well lots of things really - being awarded Papercraft Essentials Papercrafter of the year 2008 (I will stop going on about it soon - honest - LOL), having over 5000 hits and just because I love the wonderful people I've met in the crafty blogosphere and I lurve blog candy :)

Candy News, Sales News, Bloggy News and a Question

So some bits and bobs for you today and perhaps a card later
if I get a wiggle on :)

First of all, just to let you know that Emma has a fantastic sale over at Sassy Crafts with everything - Yes, I said everything - reduced. The sale ends on the 12th Jan so you better get over there as soon as you have finished reading this (of course!).

Have you seen that Clare Curd is starting her new range of crafty products on the 1st March? How exciting it must be to launch your own products :) She is setting up a blog for the range called Stampin' Chic so go check that out too!



Finally a Question:
How do you all read/visit the blogs you like? I held off doing the 'Follower' thing on my blog for a bit because I had signed-up to my blogs list on Google reader. But I now have both! So I have a 'Follower' list and my original reader list and see them both in Google reader.

However, this means that I have some of the blogs I read in one list, some in the other and some in both. I thought I was being so clever - everything was organised into folders, I'm going to need to redo them - hey ho.

From my 325 subscriptions (I actually thought I had more!) I have apparently read 3,356 blog posts in the last 30 Days - so that is what I do with my time? Mmm think I'm going to need to do a sort out very soon!
