La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday - Emboss it!

Hey Guys, all rested and ready for the week? Fired up for a La-La Land Crafts Monday? I hope so! This week the theme is Emboss It! Which I interpreted as Embossing powders but you can also use dry embossing too.

An inky tag from me this week with one of my favourite La-La Land Crafts Marci stamps - Hunny Bunny Marci. She is also available as a digi-stamp.

I've used masks and the Crafty Notions and Dylusions inks I showed you on Friday and then again on Saturday onto an old sewing pattern collage tag.

The heat embossing is black embossing powder applied with a glue stick.

Have fun with your embossed makes and don't forget to check out the La-La Land Crafts blog today and on Friday and to link your makes to the Customer Gallery

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday

Are you ready to start the week? Ready for a bit of La-La Land Crafts Inspiration? Well it is Monday isn't it?

So this week the La-La Land Crafts team is working to a theme of red, white and blue or your nation's colours.

For my make I decided on a French twist with the wonderful new La-La Land Crafts Eiffel Tower die and the world wise Travel Marci. I've used one of the Butterfly dies too.

Travel Marci is fast becoming a fav of mine, she comes with some accessories, a little map and passport, so cute and of course a sentiment. You can find her as a digi-stamp too.

The colouring on the background is provide by PanPastel and she is coloured with Prismacolor Pencils.

So don't forget to go checkout the La-La Land Crafts blog today and on Friday and link your makes up to the Customer Gallery for the chance to win a prize.

Well hope you have started your week how you mean to go on.

Have a great Monday.

The Butterlies Set 1 Die was used on some Sewing Pattern collage pieces and swiped with gesso and shaped.

The Filigree Corner die shapes where also from Sewing Pattern collage and touched with a spot of gesso, with little scrim roses and Sewing Pattern collage leaves to decorate the corner.

The sentiment also uses some Sewing Pattern Collage pieces (bit of a theme in this work as you can see) and some long stitch details.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday - {All A Flutter}

It's La-La Land Crafts time again. Time for this week's theme which is Butterflies. Oh yep a favourite for so many of us crafty folk.

Well, I thought I would give it a bit of a male twist for a change, go all boy on the butterfly theme! So who better than wild child Outlaw Luka who you can get as a rubber stamp and a digi-stamp.

Yeah! Hanging with the wild things!

And you spotted the butterfly right?

It's an ink blot on a book page and I will be psychoanalysing your responses to it later LOL!

As all ways all the DT makes and butterflies will be on the La-La Land Crafts blog today and on Friday, don't forget to check them out.

Have a wild Monday.

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday - {Spots And Stripes}

Do not adjust your screens! You will be seeing spots in front of your eyes today as that is the theme this week over at La-La Land Crafts - Spots and Stripes.

I have a princely make - it is the little Prince Luka and you can find him as either a rubber stamp or a digi stamp.

He is a quick little birthday card for a nephew and I kind of have a grey thing going on at the moment which isn't your usual kids colour but I thought that the busyness of the spots and stripes would more than compensate!

He looks very regal don't you think?

As always there are some more La-La Land Crafts makes to go look at on the La-La Land Crafts blog both today and on Friday, and I've seen what the other guys have done with this week's theme and it is gorgeous well worth a look-see!

Catch you later regal-gators!

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday - {Hey Girlfriend}

Hey Girlfriends and Boyfriends, you see a lot of La-La Land Crafts cute little Lukas and Marcis here on my blog for my La-La Land Crafts DT makes but did you realise there are the Girlfriend range as well? If you have seen my article in issue 75 of Papercraft Essentials that came out around December last year then you will have been introduced to Ally and Jesalyn already.

But if you haven't here is Ally...

She is elegant and sophisticated - the complete opposite to me! Tee Hee!

I've matched her up with Prima Marketing papers, the lovely Almanac paper pad, but I added a bit of red to the paper and some of the Stampendous Frantage Shabby White embossing enamel (I'm in love with the Stampendous Frantage range btw! Have you tried it?)

Before I go I wanted to share something else that I'm really excited about at the moment...

Oh yeah you heard me right! Irina and Eric have been designing their own dies to add to the La-La Land Crafts range and they are BEAUTIFUL! But you don't have to take my word for it, go take a look yourself!

OMG did you see that Eiffel tower? And that Dress form? And the butterflies? And the...yep another thing I'm in love with *sigh*

If you want to learn more then pop on over to the La-La Land Crafts blogs for the release announcement and some tips on using the dies with the Cuttlebug.

Ok I'm out of here! Don't forget to go check out the other Girlfriends from the La-La Land Crafts team today and on Friday on the blog.

If it is a Bank Holiday where you are - enjoy! If not then what are you doing reading this? Get on and do some work - slacker! (Ok I didn't mean that...read this, read this!)

*Kisses*

Inspiration Monday - {All Wired Up}

I'm particularly wired today, well actually my project is wired not me personally! We have a new inspiration theme at La-La Land Crafts this week - you guessed it - All Wire Up!

It is all about adding wire, or chains, to your makes. So I thought about it for a bit. I knew I wanted to add wire to my flowers, and I was thinking circle flowers - I do have a love of circle flowers. But I wanted to do a bit of stitchery so here is what I came up with this week...

Some Embroidery Hoop art using one of the gorgeous new release La-La Land Crafts stamps - Watercan Marci.

Cute isn't she? I'm a big fan of Hoop Art as you can see from my Hoop Art Pinterest board.

The flowers and leaves are made from my other obsession at the moment - Washi Tape.

The sentiment is from the Marci With Lantern set.

Don't forget to pop on over to the La-La Land Crafts blog to check out the other DT members' Wire makes today and on Friday and link up your La-La Land Crafts makes to the Gallery to be in with a chance to win.

Ok I'll see you later crafty alligators.
