Have a good Wednesday

The frame is cut with my Nestibilities Label one and then I painted it with Rangers Crackle paint and a quick spray of Shimmez Spritz, finished with distress inks.

Some ribbon, a bit of Spritzed trim, buttons, pins, Spellbinders Symbology die cut and a Melissa Frances keyhole to finish the look!

Have a super Shabby Chic Friday.

Cupcake Craft Challenge Card

Got a challenge card for you today and this one takes inspiration from Cupcake Craft Challenges which this week has a Girly theme.

I've gone for some bright colours to cheer us all up :) using papers from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush stack and boy what a versatile paper stack that is turning out to be LOL! You can get it from Elaine at Quixotic Paperie.

The stamp is from Inky Impressions and what a cutey - she is Angelica's Lantern but I've stuck a heart in place of the lantern.

I got my Copic markers out to colour her.

Did some tearing and scrunching to make the flowers and leaves, but also added a bit of stitching. I've added some Stickles Glitter glue Icicles and then finished the flower centre with little Inky Dinky Drops from Inky Impressions.

The sentiment is stamped onto little torn scraps of papers and a little stitched heart.

Hope you are having a lovely day you all.

Quixotic Paperie Challenge Blog Challenge No. 9

Gosh is it Wednesday again? Yep, and as it is Wednesday it is the Quixotic Paperie Challenge and this week we have a fabulous

Sketch

from Judy - Thanks Judy!

So I've hinted that I've been doing a lot of sewing recently - hence why my blog has been a bit quiet! I will show what I've been doing soon - promise LOL! The sewing is spilling into the papercrafts for my last few makes and for my DT piece for this week.

I've stamped the fabulous Steampunk themed Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp Chester from Quixotic Paperie onto calico and coloured him with coloured pencils. The black trim is a re-purposed piece of trim from an old t-shirt.

I stamped the pocket watch onto a piece of paper then distressed it and I have left the sewing and edges all rough and ready!

Can you guess the papers? They are from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush stack!

Materials:
Stamp - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp Chester; Studio G Alpha
Ink - Staz-on
Colouring - Coloured pencils
Usual suspects - Silicone glue; double-sided tape; paper trimmer

Up, Up And Away

Happy Saturday to you all. I have a little bit of stitching for you today. I had a bee in my bonnet about wanting to stitch this The Greeting Farm stamp - don't ask me why but it was an itch I just had to scratch LOL! Now I've done it I'm not so sure about it LOL!

The paper is Cosmo Cricket Early Bird and I've used a Kraft card base, probably one of my favourite combinations at the moment - oh I love my Kraft card - Tee Hee!

The heart sentiment is a doodle in the style of the TGF stamp with a Prismacolor Premier Illustration markers and then layered up on a button with the stamped 'Be Free'. The crochet lace is from Quixotic Paperie and I've cut it in half and threaded it with some ribbon.

Right I'm off to see if I can hunt down the parcel that Royal Mail was supposed to be redelivering to me yesterday, and we didn't even get fresh snow for them to get stuck in. Wish me luck it might be a long hunt!

Have a lovely Saturday
Kim

Materials:
Stamp - The Greeting Farm Fly Away
Paper - Cosmo Cricket Early Bird
Usual Suspects - Paper trimmer; silicone glue; double-sided tape
Other - crochet lace; Thread; needle; seam ripper; Kraft Card; button; Prismacolour Premier Illustration markers; paper piercer; Ribbon; Nestibilities; cuttlebug
