VIDEO: 5 Minute Art Journal: Quick Cut Outs

I don't know about you but I often find myself struggling to get my own personal art done. If you follow me on Instagram then you might have spotted that it has been at least a week since I last posted one of my #DellowDailyDraws I'm ashamed to say.

Let's face it, there just are not enough hours in the day. So with that in mind I thought I would share some really quick Art Journaling projects as videos on my YouTube Channel over the next few weeks to help and inspire all of us time-poor creatives!

So the first project is this Swiss Cheese plant leaf-inspired Clean and Simple art journal design. See Art journaling doesn't have to be all messy if you just do not have the time to do all the cleaning up.

In the video I share a simple way to add texture and colour and have a completed art journal page all in under 5 minutes, so really anyone can fit a bit of creating into their heavy schedules! It is a great project for getting a quick arty fix or, if you do find yourself with some time to create, this project is also a great warm up exercise to help you through that 'what shall I do' moment!

  1. Really enjoyed this post - do find it frustrating when time is limited thus has inspired me to do more quick projects. Gratitude for sharing so generously.
