Santa Breaks For A Cookie

Hello folks, how you all doing this afternoon? I have another Santa card for you and a real cutie eating cookies! How does Santa eat all those mince pies and cookies left for him? You would think that he would be rounder - perhaps he jogs or something?

Well this Santa is one of the cute Elizabeth Bell Santas from Whiff Of Joy and the Christmas tree charm is also from Whiff Of Joy. Have you seen the new winter kit stamps? They are so cute and you can get them individually now.


Yep - Prismacolor pencils with sansodor again!


But look at this perfect bow! I did that! No really! Ok so I had some help from the fabulous Bow-Easy™ Bow Tying Template available here.

Now when Elaine first mentioned it I was a little sceptical I will admit - 'I know how to tie bows' I thought, 'what do I need a template for?' But I watched the instruction video and had a go and OMG I so did not know how to tie bows!

This is so much easier and you get a perfect bow every time, you can do lots of different sizes and even multiple loops!


Right just off to put a bow into every piece of
cord, ribbon or thread we have in the flat :)

Stamp - Whiff Of Joy Santa With Snack
Ink - VersaFine Onyx Black
Colouring - PrismaColor Pencils; Sansodor
Papers - My Mind's Eye Laundry Line
Usual Suspects - Paper trimmer; double sided tape; glue dots; silicone glue
Other - Charm; Bow-Easy™ Bow Tying Template; Gems; Jump rings; Ribbon

    Oh my goodness! When I first wandered over here, I saw the card and was immediately in awe - such pretty papers and look how cute Santa is eating his cookie. Oh and the bow - just darling with that cute little charm! Then, I scrolled down and just was overtaken by a myriad of beautiful creations! My how talented to you are! PLUS...I remember seeing your card that was stitched w/green and I thought how awesome and wanted to comment then but my pc was freezing up and I could never get back. Then I scroll further and there's a stitched border tutorial! *sigh* What a lovely wake-up vision to behold - such a beautiful and crafty blog - sensational! You know, Rowena promotes Quixotic and seeing those embellishments on hers and Lisa's cards just made me go in there and say - hey, I've gotta get some! :) Okay, sorry for the lengthy blast - I just wanted to say I love your blog - it is filled with the most awesome crafts!     Gorgeous card and your colouring of the gorgeous Santa is fabulous! First thing that caught my eye was that brilliant bow. Have just ordered a Bow-Easy from Quixotic, so I can't wait to start playing with it! :)
