A Christmas Angel

You may have gathered that I was in a bit of a Christmassy mood after yesterday's post talking about decorating Christmas trees and family traditions? Here is a Christmas card to prove it!

It uses one of Mo's wonderful illustrations coloured with PrismaColor pencils. A little bit of paper distressing, pearl gems and some stitching to finish her off :)

I'm still interested to hear about your favourite Christmas movies.....Me so nosey!

Have an angelic Thursday
Kim

Materials:
Stamp - Mo's Digital Pencil
Colouring - Prismacolor pencil; sansodor
papers - 7 Gypsies; Reminisce snowy night
Usual Suspects - Paper trimmer; double-sided tape
Other - computer; printer; fibres; thread; crop-a-dile; eyelet; seam ripper; pearls

Favourite Christmas movies...hmmm! Well, I LOVE Christmas, and I LOVE Christmas movies... One of my favourites is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, because I'm silly like that. *grin* Others are The Grinch (both the original cartoon and the Jim Carrey film), and between now and Christmas I play The Nightmare Before Christmas a LOT.

  33. Fabulous card Kim! I love the image, Mo's designs are really stunning and you've brought her to life with your amazing colouring. Gorgeous colour scheme, the music background paper is superb and all the embellies and textures are wonderful. Well, Christmas movies, I'm a real sucker for them I have to say and I agree with you, it's hard to choose a fave but I'm with you on the versions of It's a wonderful life and 42nd Street you mentioned also love White Christmas and The Snowman which is short but gets me every time :), I suppose more so because the drawings are of the village next to us. Well I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend and I can't believe a whole week has gone by since we met up, I have withdrawal symptoms :). Hugs, Chris x

Mm, my favourite festive film is a fairly recent one... The Holiday. Kate Winslet and Jude Law, but then I'm a sucker for a romcom.
