Does anyone know anything about laying flooring in a bathroom? We have a very old, moth-eaten (literally) carpet that we want to replace with lino or something but do you have to put a water-proof lining underneath? So guess what we are doing this bank-holiday! :)
Hope you are all having good Mojo-full days :)
If you lay Lino down you shouldnt need to waterproof it...but if you want to lay laminate flooring(fake wood) down...then I would put a waterproof lining under it .

Hi Kim, long weekend ahead then! We have laminate in our bathroom/toilet and a good underlay would be advisable, its great when down though, so easy to maintain. We got a great deta from B & Q, didn'g cost a fortune either. Good luck! Heidi xx
ReplyDeleteWe put lino in our bath a couple years ago. We bought the kind that only has to have glue around the edges. A bit more expensive but well worth it when it comes to taking it up. No underlayment required and we have concrete floors.
