An ATC this morning and this one draws inspiration from the May challenge over at the Graphicus Blog which is all about Travel and the colour Blue. They have a fab prize up for grabs but you need to get your entry in by the 31st May!
Details: I've used distress inks and a brayer to colour the background paper which was then stamped. The bicycle image was spotlighted with a bit of Stampbord coloured with alcohol inks, stamped with part of the image and then etched to show some highlights.
I have another project for you later - What two in one day? Well this one is for the Instyle Stamps blog hop and I am really excited to show you the cute image that is being released today, very sweet.
Materials:
Stamp - Royal Langnickel; Studio G Alpha
Inks - VersaFine Onyx black and Sepia brown; Distress inks; Black Stazon
Usual Suspects - Paper trimmer; Glue dots; silicone glue
Other - Brayer; Brads; Stampbord; Alcohol inks; etching tool
Gorgeous ATC Kim - it has such a lovely vintage feel! xx

ReplyDeleteHi Kim!
ReplyDeleteI abseloutly love your latest creations :-) I am wondering if the sentiment you have used comes from Studio G Alpha as well? I´m going to make a wedding card for a couple that love cycling and traveling. I was also asked to keep the card in blue tones! I think I might have to borrow some of your ideas from this ATC!!!

I also have to add that I think the "Enjoy the journey" sentiment will work great on a wedding card! A little different, but still quite romantic if you think about it.... :-)
